Law along with engineering and medical has
always been a prestigious career option. Post liberalization, this discipline has gained further momentum with
advent of MNCs and setting up of new rules and regulations to govern them. Law graduates as such are increasingly moving
from traditional branches such as corporate law, criminal law, civil law,
taxation, labour law, etc to venture into relatively newer fields like cyber
laws, intellectual property rights( IPR), space laws and sundry other varieties of international law. A law aspirant can choose any field or branch
depending upon his/her personal inclination and interest. A number of law courses in Chhattisgarh are now available in fields like human
rights, Information Technology (IT), IPR, etc.
